A premium chair for growing infants, Tilly can simply be flipped to offer two seat heights. A T-bar variant provides extra support for smaller children.

It is notable for successfully subverting the perceived limitations of CNC routing. Where laminated ply sheets typically only allow for the integration of curvature on a single plane, Tilly’s novel construction method results in a softened form that would normally only be achievable through more complex manufacturing processes. The materiality of birch ply is clearly evidenced and is celebrated, as is the skill and care of the craftsmen that assemble it. Tilly has proven to be one of my greatest hits and has a lot of happy fans in NZ and Australia.
